The location was stunning, not too far away from Pedregosa. We had a spacious room, also there where climate control, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker.

The location was marvellous and amazing, over the open ocean. Besides, it was really close to the local large grocery store, the beach, and the hill. Got suite when arrived, appreciated that.

The view from our terrace was absolutely breathtaking. We could see the sea and the famous whale tail point of the maritime park, just like in the hotel's photos. The spacious and beautifully designed room made us feel like we were staying in a chic retreat. The air conditioning was excellent, allowing us to stay cool even on hot days. We also loved how animal-friendly the area was, with little animals running around. Nicolas, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that we had a fantastic stay. we were amazed by the stunning views, comfortable room, and top-notch service at this hidden gem in Uvita.

I couldn't be happier with the value I got for my money at this amazing hotel in Uvita. The room was chic, spacious, and had an excellent view of the "whale tail" beach. The location was perfect, with an impressive infinity pool and a short walk to the fantastic Mirador Don Roger restaurant. The staff, especially Nicolas, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by providing more variety.

Glorious beach and whale's tail view. Stunning sunsets. Infinity pool is magical. Spacious cabins with AC, fans, and a large sink outside. Attention to bug issue. Appropriate disposal of TP. No blankets, but can be asked for. Kind and accommodating hosts. Steep and unpaved entrance road. Good restaurant nearby. Would stay again.

We recently stayed at Ballena Paraiso for a few nights and had an amazing time. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with a superb view of the ocean and the whale's tail. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a fridge/freezer. The shower was always hot, and the bathroom was large. We loved sitting on the porch in the hammock chair, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The infinity pool was our favorite spot, where we could watch the sunset every evening. The restaurant nearby also had a great view and served delicious food. The staff, Vanessa and Nicolas, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property, room, and views were awesome. The hosts were readily available and helpful. The snorkeling trip they arranged was outstanding. The on-site restaurant was great. The pool with great views was refreshing. The service dog enjoyed it as well.
The mattresses and pillows could have been comfier. It would have been nice to have a second pillow in the room.

Incredible view of the ocean and the famous whale tail bar, absolutely breathtaking! The infinity pool was a highlight, offering the most magical sunsets. The cabins were comfortable with spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom in between. We also appreciated the outdoor sink, which was handy for rinsing things or preparing fruit.
One minor drawback was the lack of blankets in the room, but considering the tropical climate, it wasn't a major issue. We also found a few bugs inside due to the small gap around the doors, but it's to be expected in the tropics.

Make sure to try the delicious breakfast and dinner at the nearby restaurant. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind amidst beautiful surroundings.

We had the most incredible view during our stay at Ballena Paraiso. Waking up to the ocean and whale-tail bar in sight was a dream come true. The pool was also a highlight, providing a refreshing and relaxing space to unwind. We were grateful for the helpfulness of the staff, especially when recommending the nearby restaurant for delicious meals throughout the day. Inside our room, we found all the necessary comforts and conveniences, making our stay pleasant and hassle-free. Despite a few minor inconveniences such as sliding doors being hard to operate and some bugs in the room, it didn't greatly impact our overall experience. The cleanliness was acceptable, but not exceptional. It would have been nice to have more hangers for our clothes and curtains that were in better condition, but these were minor details. we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ballena Paraiso and would recommend it to others seeking a beautiful getaway.
